Introduction

Based upon experience spanning three decades Kramer Ltd has earned the reputation as a leader in the design and installation of Nozzle Induction Systems.

Experience, innovation and technical excellence combine to provide Kramer with an outstanding track record in the environmental control of commercial and industrial buildings.

Fully committed to service and customer satisfaction Kramer has demonstrated an understanding of their client¹s requirements resulting in 80% repeat business.

Kramer continue to provide competitive solutions for a full spectrum of applications ranging from Distribution Centres to the Elephant House at Chester Zoo.

The success of Kramer is driven by a management and staff dedicated to providing the best service and quality at the best price.

Nozzle Induction Systems

Kramer Nozzle Induction Systems are designed to provide close controlled environmental conditions for large volume buildings. A central air handling plant can be located within the space, plantroom or outside.

The AHU has an integral fully automatic control system to provide, filtered warm air in the heating mode and full fresh air, with optional cooling during the summer months. Conditioned air is distributed through a circular distribution system installed unobtrusively above the trusses at high level. Air is delivered to the space through special adjustable jet nozzles. The discharge velocity from each jet nozzle provides the energy required to induce and entrain waste warm air at high level.

As a result of the additional air movement, even lateral temperatures are achieved, stratification temperatures and running costs reduced.

Advantages

Low capital cost.
Low running costs.
Rapid heat up.
Simple fast installation.
Minimum plant maintenance.
No maintenance required in the working space.
Does not impose on valuable working space.
Provides ventilation to meet building regulations with the added advantage in the summer of additional ventilation for, 'free cooling'.
Heating medium to suit availability - gas - propane - LPHW - MTHW - steam.
Full turn key package from design to commissioning.

Distribution Facilites

Having installed Nozzle Induction Systems in some of the largest distribution centres in Europe, Kramer are arguably the UK¹s most experienced specialist for the design and installation of Environmental Systems in this demanding sector.

A selection of completed projects house:
Food (including chilled & frozen)
Pharmaceutical Products.
Raw Materials.
Manufactured Goods (including clothing)
Chemicals.
Elephants.

Kramer Nozzle Induction Systems have been fully co-ordinated with:
Complex Mechanical Handling Systems.
Specialised Sortation and Retrieval Systems.
Fully Automated Warehouse Systems.
Fire Fighting Systems.

Projects ranging from 2,000m2 to 55,000m2 and 5.0m high to 40m high have been successfully completed.
Kodak - Exel - ASDA - Glaxo Smith Kline - Topps Tiles - Hamleys - Disney - Astra Zeneca - Baxter Healthcare - Harrods Aviation - Brantano Footware - Amazon.com - DHL - Argos - National Railway Museum - Dyson - Christian Salvesen - Quinn Glass - Whyte & MacKay - Sainsbury¹s, Stoke on Trent (one of the largest distribution centre¹s in Europe)
To name but a few, all realise that Kramer Nozzle Induction Systems are the most efficient and economical way to provide heating, ventilation and optional cooling for their facilities.

Manufacturing

The manufacturing sector has always demanded the highest level of design engineering for it¹s building services.

Kramer have been involved in some of the most interesting and complicated services installations providing close environmental control for the manufacture of racing car engines to bubble wrap, shoes to vacuum cleaners and pharmaceuticals to breakfast cereal. Polestar's new 46,000m2 facility in Sheffield, completed in early 2005, is now one of Europe¹s largest printing works. From demolition of the old steel works the construction was completed in a record time of 6 months! Kramer Nozzle Induction Systems proved to be the most practical and economic solution.

No Building too Small

Many other types of buildings enjoy the benefits provided by Nozzle Induction Systems:
Aircraft Hangers.
Exhibition Centres.
Sports Halls.
Retail Shopping Centres.
All have separate and very different environmental requirements and all feature in Kramer¹s portfolio of successfully completed projects.
